The results are in!
The Cares Alliance is excited for the opportunity to collectively award over $7,600 to local schools. Based on record-breaking online community voting participation, we are pleased to announce the final results:
1st: Union Hill Elementary
Donations will benefit the UHE Snack Pantry program.
2nd: Brushy Creek Elementary
Donations will support an outdoor classroom and garden.
3rd: C. D. Fulkes Middle School
Donations will support the Learning Expeditions initiative.
4th: Double File Trail Elementary
Donations will help to complete library renovations.
5th: Fortis Academy
Donations will enable procurement of updated computer and/or athletic equipment.
The check presentations were held throughout December and Alliance representatives were privileged to present most checks to the schools on site. Special thanks to alliance members Emerald Lawns Cares and RJF Team Cares for helping us to build stronger communities, together!
